One of the parents being interviewed on the News said the stabby guy was in uniform and had just 'walked right in' - they interviewed 4 different 'concerned parents' outside the school - 3 were Asian the other African ... hence my earlier post...
And hence my earlier post...

The attacker allegedly got into the school by climbing over the wall rather than using the main entrance which has security staff outside.

Just goes to show, people have different versions of events.

These sexual related crimes and the sentencing guidelines need looking at, 6 years really does send out the wrong message

He’ll possibly only do 2/3yrs
Totally agree mate and the same with child rape, too much of a difference in sentences given out for the same crime.

Financial crimes can carry bigger tariffs - shows where successive government priorities have been ...

Rape should carry a 20 year minimum sentence with no remission ... if the victim is a child, life.

Laws are primarily there to protect property and not people.

Rape of a child is about as bad as it gets. The depravity involved is utterly sickening

How financial crimes can carry longer sentences than this is just ridiculous.

As Libby has pointed out, protection of property and money seems to carry more weight that protection of life and welfare

When you see all the stuff about Epstein and everybody involved with him coming out, and you realise that these are the people who make and shape the laws, it's all very depressing.

It depends on how rich the person being robbed is, and how rich the thief is.

Just read the BBC article ... first thing that struck me was how useless must the ****ing plod have been at the time of the original investigation... the girl reported that the guy was 'known' as 'Kenny' ... his actual name was Kennedy Jimmy ... not that much of a leap ffs... makes you wonder how much time and resource they put into it...

you say financial crimes carry a bigger penalty, how many ****ers actually going down for swindling loads of money. No one has gone down for all the covid fraud and mone and her husband has given the government and HMRC the the v signs and removed all the money

You're right. I guess I meant for the likes of you or me.

If we robbed a bank or were involved in a big fraud crime, you'd be looking at a 15 year stretch

If you rob the taxpayer of £100m then it's just written off.

While I agree it would probably lead to more murders...think the US did a similar thing re kidnapping and the murder rate of kidnap victims rose dramatically...the mentality being that you mught as well kill them so there is no witness
