I was looking through the Serie A results as I do, and noticed the BBC had the Lazio v Atlanta attendance as 3,400 and thought that can't be right, they ground share with Roma, it's always packed.

Not today it seems, some protest...Twitter suggests it was more 6-7k...

Protest against the owner by the ultras who have “encouraged” others to do the same.

Reckon he needs to come to United for a couple of last hurrah seasons and send that stupid bald **** Shearer to the bin forever.
47 behind so think he’d need three seasons so the record is safe. Hate that ‘most Premier League….’ is a thing when football did exist before anyway so Kane is in fact 70 behind. He’s one behind Tony Cottee.

Cracking day out which even a really poor football match and (for us) a really poor result couldn't take the shine off ...

Southampton was a surprisingly picturesque place - had only been to the Dell previously, so never got the opportunity to explore ...

Bars we went in were all nice and the food in the second one was pretty good and not bad value ...

****ing hell, first time I've ever seen Southampton described as picturesque. Then again when you're from the Midlands <whistle>

Glad you enjoyed your day though mate. Never let the football ruin a day out for the football.

Yeah you've highlighted 3 of about 6 buildings which weren't destroyed by the Luftwaffe <laugh>

Got a few nice buildings and the walls which are decent, just not somewhere I'd remotely label as picturesque. Basically your standard medium sized city - bit of a ****hole.

But like I say if you're comparing it to the Midlands

One of the lads in the group is really into his beers and had plotted our route from the station to the ground - likely an equivalence to the buildings ... the walk through the park was pleasant and there was a **** off massive cruise liner in view ... something you certainly don't see in the Midlands! <laugh>

Nice sunny day also helped ...

That has to be one of the worst games of football I've seen in a long long time.

In the hat though and that's 3 wins out of 3 against the 'strongest squad in the championship'.

Leicester losing in ET today when we had about 6 nippers on the pitch is arguably more embarrassing than throwing away a 3 goal lead at home.
Just seen the league table too. Good for Leicester to focus on the league

I remeber back in the early 90’s and Mike Walker having the same impact at Goodison park.

Main problem has been defence and that we've had to play some very young players ... they've had a rough time and there have been many individual defensive errors that have cost goals and really damaged confidence ... but with Begovic coming in and with Harry Souttar and Victor Kristiansen both returning from injury and Lascelles is a fair signing so (hopefully) we'll be substantially more robust soon - and if we have that behind the forward threat we showed in the first half hour against Saints, we'll be fine...
Make your mind up, you’ve been saying you’ve got no forwards for most of the season!
