I know, I dont give a ****, but I aint been sat here in denial for the last 12 months.
I expected it last season tbh after we owned up to Romans shenanigans.

Because of the time past and change of ownership though, plus the fact that Clearlake were the ones who brought it to the PL's attention, and havent had to be dragged through the process kicking and screaming like City, through the courts, its thought by many that our punishment will be a fine with a suspended points deduction. But we will see.

Nobody's been in denial, sweet cheeks <doh> ... they were always gonna get us ...we had the audacity of disrupting the annual six way Champions League spots play-offs ... they had to bring in measures to prevent that happening again - which they've now effectively done ...

... but we led them a merry dance ... and even caused the money clubs to seek a super league solution to the 'upstart' problem ...

Why would the EFL give a **** about the Champions League?
You think the EFL are gonna start a decade long campaign to ruin your club because you qualified for the Champions League one time?!
And.....Sweet Cheeks? Dude lay off the Baileys after dinner ffs....the ****s the matter with you? <laugh>

Dry January mate ... still going strong, sweet cheeks ;)

... and I was talking about the 'establishment' ... the Prem have been in cahoots with the EFL ever since we pulled their pants down by extending our accounting period...

Yes, you really changed the face of football <doh>
Likely escaping another relegation by the skin of your teeth really has the PL panicking <laugh>

All in the game mate - experienced numerous relegations, promotions, play-off finals, losing FA Cup semi finals - losing FA Cup Final - winning 3 League Cup finals (in my lifetime) losing a League Cup final and winning the Premier League title, winning the FA Cup.

Still be supporting them to my dying day...

... and yes, we did rejuvenate the football World with our 'fairytale' - ignited the right to dream for many a club - although, realistically, nobody is likely to win the Premier League with a squad costing less than a tenth of the annual transfer spend of a Liverpool or Citeh in future, are they? ...

I’m not many years younger than you and in footballing terms both Blackburn winning the PL, taking that honour from the established clubs and Wimbledon going from non-league to winning the FA cup will be remembered long after Leicester’s success, so close but no cigar mate.
What you will be remembered for is a club that cheated its way to success!

Sure mate <laugh>

Blackburn won the league with the most expensively assembled squad in the league that season ffs!!! ... if PSR / FFP had existed then, their 'fairytale' could never have happened <laugh>...plucked relatively unknown Alan Shearer from Blythe Spartans they did!!!

What Wimbledon did was great - but for me (and likely many others), Sunderland beating Don Revie's all conquering Leeds United in the 1972 final was way more impressive...

All about opinions - we 'cheated' by winning the Premier League with a squad costing less than £30 million ... naughty, naughty, Leicester City ...

You'll remember us negatively for sure - but that's got way more to do with you being a bit of a bell end... and to being so so easily wound up by one particular Leicester fan <whistle>

Mate, the fact that Leicester City getting a 6 point deduction will be the highlight of your / another Everton football season... is pretty funny ... <laugh>

A lot of sympathy for Lester fans.

Nobody gave a toss about us when we were folding.

End of the day its poor financial control which has led to this.

They are fortunate.

Seeing Wimbledon being mentioned;

I will remember them more than any of the other events, simply because I was there for their last home game at Plough Lane of the 1983/84 season.

7th May 1984 we beat them 1-3 on their own turf, just over 6,000 there for it, with the customary pitch invasion at the end, which was double the attendance of their previous home game - they really were a poorly supported club back then...

MK Dons changed all that, and created the love / hate relationship that we see with football supporters today, although over time it has mainly become forgotten, because it was so long ago now.

That would have been League Division Three in 1984, with them promoted to League Division Two - League Division One would have been what is today the Prem. Wimbledon FC came second to Oxford United in the final table that season.

My lot were the only club to beat Oxford at home that season, at the old Manor Ground. Quite something beating Oxford and Wimbledon FC on their own turfs that season, while we finished 8th...

The Oxford win really stuck in my memory because I was expecting us to get thumped, we scored in about 3 mins, then defended for our lives for the remaining 87 mins to win 0-1.

I still remember Dickie Guy from their much earlier FA cup exploits. Sorry Gessa.

Important not to confuse AFC Wimbledon and Wimbledon FC when looking for historic stats on the two, as they are dealt with as seperate entities.

I think AFC have officially inherited the honours of Wimbledon after MK rather scandalously had them for a while. Went to the first MK v AFC ‘derby’ in the away end when their fans were split between boycotting and not. Was tremendous.
