And here is my rant from today’s game, enjoy - well try to:

*Faurlin = SLOW! Watching the match back on match of the day he’s soooo slow! Now I realise why when he has the ball he won’t run at them, he knows he’s too **** to run. Honestly can’t see what all the rave is about.

*Barton - generally off form today, admitted it on twitter and said he will be back and ready for Wednesday - yes lets fu**ing hope so!

And I've saved the best till last CONNOLLY; he was acting more like the ref today - moving out of the way of the ball, not defending it!

Rant over. Hope you enjoyed. Most of you people who adore Faurlin will probably hate this thread, but so many mistakes made by him are fundamental enough to lead to a goal. And if he was faster he would be able to defend a hell of a lot better! As you will see in MOTD he’s trailing behind the united strikers far too often.

Mmm....that's mostly bollox mate! You're right on Barton however but Connolly did well imo. NW is having a mare mind you!

Yer, thinking about it how did I miss out Mackie and Jay!?

As I said in another post, Mackie may well have a high work rate but for nothing! He will run and run and run but will loose that ball, or waste a perfect goal scooring opportunity or fall over from a slight breeze of wind, shall i carry on?

As for Jay well what can you say utter ****e! Suppose to be a striker you say? PLEASE! Dont think he had one shot on target! He wont drive to the goal and just laughs when he misses, well in the prem if you cant take advantage of clear goal scoring opportunitys then your not going to win games.

SWP - a little bit more running in that game, but cant hide the fact that he is so easily knocked off the ball, I dont think he bothers to try and defend anything now because he knows he will just get knocked over.

Anyone else I missed!? probably a few more ! haha

    QPR, never a simple club!

Faurlin, slow and too easily brushed aside. Still a good player for us but talk of he being a target for a top club is ridiculous.

what im getting really fed up with on here is people slating players when they clearly know nothing, lets see how you like this. faurlin was awful yesterday and IS SLOW!!1
mackie cant trap a bag of sand yet you worship him?? bothroyd is getting abused yet is playing up front with helguson, how on earth can we play 2lumps up front with wingers who cant cross a ball?? swp and barton are never 60k a week players, barton is very over rated but swp is being played out of position, warnock loves playing speedy wingers through the middle(wr last season an example) traore gives the ball away too much although that could be down to the lackof movement from others. im getting tired of warnock saying we played well when we were awful, man up warnock and get some pride and passion in the side!!!!!!!!!!!1

It's not the biggest crime to look average against Man Utd. The team did well against City a few weeks ago. The Sunderland match will be a great test of where we are at. Both teams should be pretty evenly matched.

Wow, some of the opinions on here today seem well over the top. Yes the overall performance was poor and certainly individuals had a bad day at the office but we are a recently promoted side going through a bit of an injury crisis and we were up against the PL champions FFS. I agree Barton's performance was frustrating as hell however - he was meant to be leading on the pitch but seemed happy to be watching the game go on around him. I'm also reserving some ire for NW for his usual crazy substitutions: bringing on Cambell was a worthwhile gamble but he more than anyone needs service so taking off HH (best Ranger on the pitch again) and sticking with Bothroyd who couldn't win a header against a dwarf seems just plain nuts.

HH is carrying an injury, leaving him on for a lost cause, and losing him for Sunderland would be a mistake.
It's not just for putting your hat on lads:)
