I’d have to give Madsen MoM. Made the difference with assist and goal. Was always looking to distribute. Good game Rrrrs
Me too, his distribution second to none and what a cross to find Kone. He rarely plays a poor pass. IMO the most deserving player to score the winner.
I think his pin-point corner last week to find Cook went a little unnoticed because of the disappointing result.

What a transformation in Madsen this season. He always looked like he could play, but he's now added tacklng and heading to his excellent passing game. Player of the season for me. There's a few that should be eating their words from last year.

Even though Bennie was overly excited/shocking it was more like an old school front two, and would love to see Burrell play in that similar position, leaving Kone to play no.9 not deeper than Burrell. Seemed to free up Madsen and Vale to get wide, which doesn't happen with Dembele playing. Both goals created by Madsen and Vale being found with room out wide

Great result and good watch in the main, with so many injuries as well(can now add Dembele to the list).Cov were really pedestrian, and our big lads mopped up all the balls being launched into the box(except for when Bennie forgot to do his job).
Does Mbengue get his place back, I'm going no?

So happy with todays result......but thinking of the Wtexham game still makes my blood boil
I think we put that ghost to rest. 2-1 at 90 minutes, 7 minutes of injury time. Everybody groaned. But we wasted time sensibly and looked comfortable this week. Enjoyed waving at Frank - see you next year!

I still have a sneaky feeling we'll do a number on them, maybe not of Massive proportions from a couple of seasons ago, but I fancy us to turn them over....

Could be the g & t's have kicked in, but hey.....

UR'ssss
Cough, cough.....

Been out all afternoon so couldn't follow updates, but at least that sneaky feeling I had wasn't just wind....

Brilliant result lads.... now I'm going to read this thread.....

My hopes for this season were to avoid being in the relegation battle, only need a max of ten points, realistically about 5 should see us fine, granted there have been some terrible performances along the way but this season has been way better than recent years, and we actually have a bunch of players worth a few quid which is a big step forward.
