Not watched loads of the AFCON but watched the Morocco game against Cameroon which was such a homer performance it was taking the piss. 92nd minute of the final he disallows a Senegal goal for very, very little then 98th minute gives Morocco a penalty for nothing.

Turned out to be the most dramatic period of play arguably in the history of the sport. Senegal storming off over the corruption, ref genuinely having no idea what to do about it, away fans rioting, Senegalese sub goalkeeper fighting with ball boys trying to nick the keeper’s towel, fans walking out well before the end 1-0 down, manager’s press conference cancelled because the home journalists were kicking off.

I was considering whether to go to Chelsea v Pafos with my grandsons but tickets were only available through resale sites at tourist prices. At half time it's 0-0 which is surprising as Pafos have several injured players including David Luiz out of tonight's match and their successful coach Carcedo has left for Spartak Moscow. Regardless of tonight's result they've made a tidy €22 million+ out of the competition so far and still have a chance of making the play-off round...

Watched the last 15 mins or so and they’re doing admirably. No possession or attacks but the goalkeeper isn’t having to do a lot.

Ah perhaps not

Scum scrape a late 1-0 win. Pafos have far exceeded all expectations throughout this tournament and it's now a longshot on their chances of a play-off place but to even be in with a chance is a great effort. Last match at home v Slavia Prague...

Three points off the playoffs now having been absolute ****e for what feels like months. We’ll probably lose both and somehow only be four points off but it feels a huge opportunity with two home games to push on now. Win Saturday and a draw against Cov an we’re really talking.

Baggies avoid an 11th straight away defeat by grabbing a 95th minute equaliser at Derby and stops Derby going 4th......
