    superfrank

Ignore him, he is just a WUM, he isn't even a Liverpool fan.

Anyway I reckon we need to get rid of about 5 players:

    - Bosingwa
    - Cole
    - Anelka (gone)
    - Malouda
    - Kalou

    Buy:

    - Cavani
    - Van Der Wiel
    - Baines
    - Creative Midfielder

    <ok>

Bertrand is fine District, Baines will cost about £20m at least and Cole has only been playing poorly this season. I agree with the others but only if we sell players like Mikel/ Bosingwa.

If we sell Bosingwa, Mikel, Drogba and now Anelka has left we should replace them.

IMO We should sell Bos and Mikel and replace them with VDW and use Essien in his strongest position in DM. Spending a **** load of money won't help us again.

That's if we sold Cole which I definitely don't see us doing. I'd just rotate them so it keeps both of them on their toes.

I have a horrible feeling, come May, we may well be looking back at this result with a lot of anguish!

Any team should be going to Wigan and walking out with 3 points.

Even Fulham and Bolton who probably boast the two worst away records in the PL over the last 2/3 seasons have gone to Wigan and won comfortably.

All the other top teams will go there and win <ok>

In all fairness it was a resolute display from Wigan, but still. Anyway, Mikel should be 10-15mil? Drogba 5-10mil? Bosingwa 5-10mil? Then, use the money and extra we should get Godin (10-15mil) Mountinho (25-30mil) and Cavani (30-40mil) Gotze would be a lovely bonus but 40mil for a 19 year old? Same with Neymar. Risky business.

Neymar should be a top priority, play 4-3-3 with Neymar, Sturridge, Torres up front, and Mata, Meireles and Ramires in midfield.

Face it, Lukaku isn't near ready, and Drogba will not maintain form all season, and Anelka is leaving (Evidence for suggestion)

Don't fancy buying someone rated at £40m when he's done absolutely **** all to merit that value. We need a right back, top priority!

All Neymar did against Barca was miss a glorious chance.

Anyway, I was watching the Tottenham game and I think we are panicking far too much. Yes they are playing very well but they're very beatable and sloppy at the back. Ramires closing down Modric as well would be advised.

I'm not sure about Neymar, but fully agree with your suggestion of Mata in the midfield behind Torres...he is class on the left but we see the best out of him when he pulls the strings in the middle of the park with a free role<ok>

All big signings carry risk but Neymar looks by far the best young player in the world right now. I'm 99% sure he will be world class (if not already) but it will probably be with Madrid.

This type of signing is likely to have a lot bigger impact on our team than buying a better full back. Love the idea of Mata, Sturridge, Torres (or Drogba) and Neymar. That would be the best attacking line up in the league (or at least on par with City).
