I'm as frustrated with the result as anyone, but I'm trying to rein in the emotion and look at things more objectively.
I said from the start of the season that there were too many changes for my liking - that they would take too long to gel and by the time they did we might be too far behind.
I think this is what we're seeing now. There have been a lot of positives from all the new signings over the last few games (not counting Isak, who hasn't had much opportunity so far), but there's still a long way to go.
There was good approach play today, some really nice football, but the end result isn't quite there somehow.
As I said, I can't see too much wrong with the way we were set up, so I don't see how we could have done it very differently. I think it's more that things aren't quite right, as opposed to fundamentally wrong.
Manager always carries the can - it has to be that way - but I'm not sure that changing at this stage is the solution.
Unless a change just brings in a new positivity, which often does happen.
