Semenyo at City is going to make the rest of the season interesting to say the least ... Ponky will be ****ting bricks ...
I thought he looked a bit out of sorts most the game, because I think he normally plays where Doku is, but they combined brilliantly for the first goal. He's now switched to Doku's side because of the substitution.

Be nice if City can at least put Arsenal under some pressure.

Prem is a bit dull atm.

Endless crap about United.

Thing is home fans will naturally cheer it, but unless supporters start sticking together we are going to get more of this ****. It needs to be called out for what it is absolute bollocks.

The only thing the VAR replay showed was that Haarland was holding back a Newcastle defender not that he was offside

Whats the point in having it.
I just wish the refs would have some balls for a change and tell the var room to piss off with the bollocks they are shown.

We need more commonsense and discretion brought back to the game, if it's an exciting fixture don't go and ****ing spoil it with ludicrous decisions.

Especially as a neutral you want two good teams going at one another, once you know a team is a player down or a poor var decision is made, it;s an instant game killer.

I'd be interested to know how many neutrals turned the game off after that decision.

It's the length of time they take over a lot of decisions, that's so annoying, 6 minutes to decide if a finger nail is in an offside position, ****ing ludicrous and theyre obviously getting a lot wrong too.

Just reading the report from the game. Just fault to understand now with VAR.

No consistency in decision and then this from the game last night. Sack it off, think they make stuff up now to try to justify someone being a pixel offside

The fault lies with the PGMOL, Premier League and FA. The refs have to be seen to investigate anything that could change the decision as part of the mandatory check for any goal and last night was a rare scenario with the goalkeeper not the furthest man back and it being centimetres on/off.

They’re merely following orders, mein fuhrer. They could of course bring a time limit in but imagine the chaos with that as the Uxbridge bod sweats knowing he’s got 5 seconds to decide like he’s defusing a bomb.

I’m still not that confident the tech is good enough to pin point the exact millisecond they should even be looking at.

They also allowed a goal that looked off a week or two ago saying there was a tolerance of 5cm that had suddenly become a thing. Guess that’s gone or not. We’ll know next time. Or not.
