I don’t think for a second a single club has the power over the officials to call off a game of footy.
Referee cleared the pitch for play. Watford wanted to play. At the very least, Hull must have been trying their best to get the game called off by invoking the "areas surrounding the pitch".

Down to incompetence.
Weather forecasts for the past week have mentioned a cold snap.
West stand touch line won’t have seen the sun for a month or so .
Tarps and straw remove an hour before kick off…that was the old fashioned way.

The frozen area would have been unplayable at 9 am and was never going to thaw.Should have been called off then.

I get your fans frustration and it’s 100% on our grounds team for not having the stadium fit to play.

But the posts from your club and from you are embarrassing. No club is purposely trying to postpone a game because they have a few injuries, we’ve not had a fully fit squad all year. We’ve beaten better teams than you with players out.
