They take the bottle tops off for rugby league fans as well if that makes you feel better?

If you're talking about alcohol consumption as a preferential treatment then that's something you need to take up with UEFA, not the RFL or the Dept for Culture, Media and Sport who brought in the bottle top rule to try and save a few broken necks. UEFA are the ones who dictate the guidelines on alcohol consumption and the FA who follow them and ban it from the view of the pitch.

I can't think of any other preference Hull FC get you may be referring too. The whole stadium is decorated like it belongs to City, including the coroperate boxes and bars, and the fans only get the same food and drink offerings.

The law dictates the restriction for people not to be able to drink alcohol in view of the pitch. The Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985.

Ok lads, how many long-sleeved vests and gloves will we see on the pitch today?

I'm going for 12 players in full winter kit (excl goalies), Charlie Hughes and John Egan to run out in short sleeves and no gloves.

Got Norovirus this weekend so that’s me ****ed. Enjoy the game, everyone.
It's pretty scary how many people have been ill the past few weeks .
My missus had a day in bed with food poisoning .
I've had a couple with some virus .
A fair few people I know have had the virus plus a few had flu in the past 6 weeks .
I've never known so many ill.

What annoyed me about it is that usually when I get ill, I get all the symptoms all at once and it's gone in a matter of days.

This year it was like all the symptoms were back to back, never concurrent - I went through:

1. Feeling utter ****e, typical flu like symptoms, joints ache, can't decide if I'm hot or cold, no appetite.
2. Feeling utter ****e went away, then immediately started sneezing due to blocked nose (which I never have done before for some reason).
3. Blocked nose goes away, then start with extreme lethargy and tiredness.
4. Lethargy goes, but sinuses become congested and end up with painful headaches.
5. Sinuses finally clear, day of intense nosebleeds because of all the pressure/congestion.

Whole thing has taken about 2 weeks to clear. I'm used to it working in a school and my wife works in a hospital (plus we have two school age children) so it was inevitable, but nobody was ill simultaneously either, we all took turns. Well annoying Xmas that was.
