Liverpool Part Ways with Set-Piece Coach Aaron Briggs Amid Defensive Woes

The club mutually parted ways with first-team set-piece coach Aaron Briggs on Tuesday, redistributing duties across Arne Slot's staff after shipping 12 non-penalty set-piece goals—the joint-most in the Premier League and worst in Europe's top leagues. They've scored just three, creating a league-worst minus-9 differential, highlighted by Wolves' corner goal in Saturday's 2-1 win. Slot called it a 'big problem' that could hurt top-four hopes, while fans debated if zonal marking or players share the blame more than the coach.
I'm just staggered to find we actually had one

Exactly. I don't understand why people beat themselves up over something they have zero control over. We're just spectators in reality.
kind of the point of football and fans, no? Opinions, debate etc

It’s just as bizarre celebrating when we win stuff, what have we done other than watch a team achieve something

There's a difference between having an opinion and beating yourself up about it

Well the chances of DCL not scoring seem somewhere between slim and nil but also difficult to see us not scoring .
my prediction was 2-1 so we can rule that one out .
We just need to keep him outside of 2m wide strip of turf between the goal line and the penalty box and he's unable to score...

So Bradley RB and Frimpong RW?

I'd have given Chiesa another shot at RW, but then he's our only replacement for Ekitike later in the game.

Having frimpong on the pitch reminds you of the advantages of having someone absolutely rapid on the wing.

Its been awhile
