RIP Mr Robertson. Agreed. Things may have been very different if he came to Sunderland with Martin.
RIP John lad. Class player and a brilliant bloke as well apparently.
Superb player and when you think of Cloughie's team mostly British.
My brother actually wrote his book....lovely guy, great player and will be missed RIP Supertramp
That’s a shame - my mate lived in a village (Aslocton ?) near Nottingham and he had a pub there - fair to say he was a better footballer than a publican…really friendly but couldn’t stay away from the free pints
Was trying to think of some words to praise John Robertson, but the words of his former team mates say it all in that short montage. RIP
