The advantages of Trevs seats in the Gallowgate End and mine in the Leazes End being close to the pitch
are that you feel almost part of the game,
you can hear the players shouting at each other you can hear the pounding
of feet at corners and free kicks as players rush in, you hear the swoosh of the net as it bulges with a goal
You can hear the whack of the posts as the ball hits it

and most of all you can heckle the Ref and the opposition goalkeeper <laugh>

Except if the seat happens to be near yours. In which case all you can hear is the incessant drone of the informal automatic timing system.

But yeah, while you can’t see the moves developing, the speed at which everything is done is remarkable. It’s not surprising there are so many turnovers and possession lost.

Is it one or the other though, or can they play together? Wissa played on the side of the front 3 frequently at Brentford, the 2 of them could work well together
Not sure. The target man and speedy number 10 set up seems to have died a death and I suspect our slower build up play and longer ball doesn’t suit Wissa. To be honest I would much rather see us moving the ball much quicker through midfield and playing balls between centre-back and full-backs for Wissa to run on to.

Yeah I liked Wissa's movement, gave us different options and changed the energy.

Can Woltemade play at full back?

I’ve got tears sat on the edge of my lids, catchlights flickering on them as they build some momentum to fall, Steve…
