Haven't told the boy yet. Can't wait to see his face.
That's the Christmas present sorted anyway. Although no one knows if it will be a great one or a ****ing **** one until a month afterwards. <laugh>

Doncaster cup game confirmed for Saturday 10th Jan, 3pm KO. Ticket details to come tomorrow.

Totally forgot about getting a ticket as been busy, but miraculously managed to get 2 this morning. It will be virtually 30 years to the day since I last watched Saints at Pompey, and that was a 3-0 win from memory. Hopefully history will repeat itself. At least my 19 year old already thinks this is the best Xmas present he will get. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

That's an insane gap before the game. Must be over 6 weeks? By far the longest of the season excluding the special circumstances for the skates.

Yeah nice one Saints, I really wanted to spend over a oner on football tickets in the two weeks before Christmas.

I'd almost certainly be alright to wait until payday on Christmas eve but not sure I want to risk it.

Stoke won't sell out for ages if it does at all.

Yeah I know it's incredibly unlikely but it'd be just my luck.

The wording of initial allocation makes me wonder if they might reduce it if sales are poor early on as it definitely won't be increased.

Stoke ticket sorted. Typical Saints that they didn't think to remove the 'Portsmouth only collect from St Marys' delivery option.

Wish they'd get their act together about the Doncaster game. Maybe the clubs are still trying to agree ticket prices.

Clubs don't need to agree on pricing anymore. Entirely up to home club.

Did wonder if it might be allocation related but then why would club say they'd be out yesterday if negotiations were ongoing?

Nothing on their site yet for whatever that's worth.

Yeah I checked their site as well. Their normal prices for adults are £23 so will be interesting to see if they stick to them for this game.

You'd think we're not a big enough draw to warrant an increase. Hopefully not anyway.
