I think he's probably had a few beers.. Nothing left to be said..

Can we now question the recruitment strategy instead or something?
I've said before, we need some creativity (a real playmaker who can open defences) and some pace. I'm not counting Elangs there, as yes, he can run but appears to have lost the ability to kick a football.

We also need (young) cover at fullbacks. Unless we do start to bring through Shahar and A Murphy and actually give them opportunities.

We need to give them opportunities and if we're not we need to sort out a proper loans manager so they get game time

I'd take Max and almiron back all day instead of Elanga... Miggy was frustrating but he was a great bloke and caused havoc.

Know what you mean, but I think they might both be past it now mate. Need to move on and look elsewhere.

And when you and your multiple personalities come back make sure to bring the ****ing brave one with yous

I don't know if it's bad recruitment or if Howes just getting it wrong, but it's one of the two or both. It leads to to have some concerns about signing any players in January.

I mean, they paid 40 million for Ramsay to be a 6th option...that is nuts.

Elanga looked a world beater when he played against us
Now it seems he has the Joelinton syndrome
Should we try him in a different role
Maybe he's not a winger, he's a goalkeeper

When Howe signs players it like they need 6 months to get use to Howes way of playing, its weird.

For me I cannot fathom why Howe went for Elanga. That lad is a low block counter attacking player, he will never offer anything to a top side aiming to control the ball or dictate play. What’s odd is that Howe by all accounts should be easily good enough as a manager to know that. Ramsey is then just a kind of Joelinton-lite. What’s troubling is we keep spending a lot of money not to evolve but to stay the same. Woltemade is a bit Isak, Wissa a bit Wilson, Elanga a bit Almiron, Ramsey a bit Joelinton, Barnes a bit Gordon. There’s nothing in the squad that says we’re aiming to be different, control play, change the formation, etc. It’s just the same players over and over in the same formation over and over. I cannot understand how more people aren’t concerned - it’s getting worse and there’s not one indication that Howe has either the desire, the ability or knowledge to change it.

Tbf Elanga looked like dynamite at Forest, I was excited when we got him. We can debate why it hasn't worked out, but sometimes it just doesn't. Although time is on Elanga's side and plenty of time to turn things around still.

How the hell are Isak and Woltemade the same? Or Gordon and Barnes? Or almiron and Elanga? Or Ramsay and Joelinton?

Isak nippy, shoots from anywhere and plays as an advanced forward with a bit of pace. Woltemade sits deeper than a number 10 isn’t nippy and very rarely shoots.

Almiron works his nuts off and liked to take a shot Elanga just likes to run full tilt and give throw ins away.

Barnes scores and is slow Gordon doesn’t and is rapid.

Joelinton was a unit and destroyer who would play ball out to the left rather than run with it. Ramsay seems to want to dribble with it.

Wissa nippy as **** ….. Wilson needed a wheelchair.

Apart from that ….. great analysis - missed your calling.

I would have agreed with that a couple of years back but since Bunce has come in we no longer play with any intensity so don’t see why they need any time at all.

He doesn't seem to know what the hell to do now he's presented with options. We beat everton 4 - 1 away... Have we played the same 11 again? No.

The style of play is I suspect a result of him bogsnorkeling pep for years.. I'm interested to know what you and the match going fans would think of that style of play even if it worked?

Being in control of a game knowing we’re going to score and winning the league most years - I’d cope.

The issue I have is the lethargy in the play. It’s like we’re stuck not knowing if we want to go out and control a game, or sit back and counter.

I think the Elanga and Gordon issues to an extent are due to Woltemade playing way way too deep and not having the pace to keep up and be in position.

That’s what we need to see. Elanga, Gordon and Wissa working as a 3 and then Murphy Barnes and Woltemade as the other 3.

Today’s substitutions pissed me off as we never got to see what damage pace would have caused them.

Man I have said this before and got no reaction, we play just like a Pep team with less quality and less intensity.

We have our players in their specific roles and that's it, we do not allow freedom of expression or creativity. It's why we pass the ball around the box so much

Its ****ing boring and now it's not even winning games. I want him to say "****ing go for it" but it's not his nature.

I think he'd sprint onto the pitch to help someone, then realise he's left the first aid box in the dugout.

Whoever signed him has wasted 55 million. There's no amount of training that will help I don't think..

Although it's literally all the players.. Gordon today literally kicked the ball about 10 yards too far in front of him.

Meanwhile I listen to Howe saying there were lots of positives in the 1st half... Forgive me but he's starting to sound like Bruce.. I honestly can't take any positives from the game.. It was really poor... He needs to acknowledge the issues to have any chance of fixing them.
