He was actually full of back handed compliments to us, he just didn't realise it.
As to the Sunderland supporter who spat on him, that is out of order. Just ket him stew, smiling at him hurts so much more.

Aye he looked like he was about to burst into tears. On the Sky highlights, which was all us, it sounded like Gary Neville was absolutely gutted that we won which is a bit odd.

About the game, and away from chuckling at their players and manager having a meltdown, some observations.

Thiaw should have had about 5 yellows.
Brobbey was absolutely immense putting himself about, if not an attacking threat.
Nordi, Granit, Dan and Omar were superb (that 60 yard reverse ping to Wilson, calm down Omar!)
ELF MOTM was everywhere.
Roefs is in the conversation for best keeper in league, legit.
We win games without playing well, which is the sign of a properly good side.
I hope Sky have a replay of Talbi megging Livaremento was right in front of us and it was glorious.
They paid £50m for Elanga. Forest must still be pissing themselves.

The clubs admins and marketing folk are truly magnificent.

Wish I could have stayed in town longer as it was raucous, but I was one pint away from ‘**** it’ and being up till 4am.

Credit where it's due - congrats lads and lasses. Enjoy the win.

Not the best showcase match in terms of quality, but with the derby games it's all about the spirit and then ultimately the result. And your lot just looked way more up for it than ours.

Hopefully we'll put in a much better performance at our place. But for now enjoy the beers tonight and have a good Christmas all.
