Love your positivity but the writing is on the wall for Howe, he aint turning this around. I dont think he knows how to. All we need is for our home form to drop and the table will look very nasty, very quickly. No worries though as we have the nice easy Chelsea next weekend. Palmer and Pedro will rip us a new one whilst Howe, swaps Murphy for Elanga and Barnes for Gordon, between 60-70 mins......... Shock!

At home we'll have a go... I won't be surprised if we beat Chelsea but they'll definitely have a go.. Howe isn't afraid of those games.

Poor performances away bring down confidence and so Howe has struggle on his hands to not let that permeate into our home games.

You're right we are not playing well but we're going to improve now that Wissa is back.

Hmmmm I hope so, but I don't see anything this manager is doing working well... We're in his eyes transitioninh to something new, but I think that's a style of play just going out of fashion and he's not got the players.... Time will tell but I think our players are plotting their next moves in some cases.

As opposed to the nice easy Man City who we beat a few weeks ago?

Woltemade, Gordon and Barnes both have the same number of goals each this season as Cole and Pedro combined you realise?

But yeah, who cares about facts - the future is foretold, writing is on the wall for Howe, he ain't turning this around, Chelsea are going to destroy us blah blah.

We're definitely transitioning and I think the delay to selling Isak message we didn't get the players we wanted in. The injury to Wissa was a big blow.

I think Tino has had his head turned by Manchester City and he'll end up there - not that he's played poorly before today.

I’d take glasner. We have just got so ****ing boring predictable and stale.

Apart from the 4 games prior to this where we took 10 points from 12, including beating Man City and hammering Everton away?

But yes, I appreciate facts may get in the way of your narrative.

And now not even just sacking Howe but sounding out replacements. And in your obvious entitled way, "I'd take Glasner"? That's nice, but do you think he'd even come or Palace would let him? He's just delivered the biggest trophy in their history and they're flying this season, but yeah, you'd take him.

See you next weekend then. What will it bring.......

Howe is safe in anyway as PIF take an age to make a decision on anything and if he did get the sack, it would probably be April before they finally appointed someone.

Well done btw, not great from either team, tbh, but the OG decided it. GG will lose the plot on this thread for the next few days btw.

I thought we played well tbh, was surprised at your lot, seemed to really lack intensity. Think we could have kept pushing and found a winner if Woltemade hadn't done it for us :emoticon-0136-giggl.

Good game lads, there's no shame in being beaten by a team competing at the top end of the table <whistle>

we've played 16 games... Overall I don't think we're doing well after a whopping 250 million spend after finishing 5th before spending it.

You're basing you're argument on a small selected sample of results that suit your narrative and pointing at a season that's a season in the past.

The question is are we doing well right now overall? I don't think so.. Could it get better? Yeah, but it could also get worse.

I bet Paul Mitchell is enjoying his Sunday... Perhaps the owners should have listened to him. If there was a power struggle I suspect someone has taken note at the club.

Maybe we were a bit knackered, and that had kind of showed in the not-great Burnley performance prior to this game. Lucky goal for you, but you held out well, so probably deserved it overall.

Honestly quite an interesting time when any team can put a run together and rocket upwards, despite what the grim depression of some on here might think.
