Rubbish.

For anyone unable to sign in, scroll to the bottom of the thread and use the ‘you just log in to comment in this’ button, it’s the only way I could get to a log in page.

If your own post is the last post in a thread clicking on that thread again takes you to the opening post on page 1
Why the **** would i want to go there, take me to the last post even if it is mine, i may want to edit it.

Doesn't look too bad to me, on a pc anyway, don't know what it's like on a phone. Only thing I don't like is the bold effect on unread thread titles isn't bold enough!
I've seen worse upgrades.

If you click on the time of the last post it'll take you to the most recent.

Not too keen on the display of 'similar threads', selection criteria might need bit of work, it's just a bit unhelpful as it is.

The font is less engaging and it appears to make you more remote from the content. Now that may be because I am just used to the old format but it may not be.

You have to go to your profile then into preference, untick profanity, save it then tick profanity and save again. That worked for me.

One good thing, you can now directly upload X links again, without having to change the text to Twitter.
