I was about to post a thread based on those exact figures Wiz. The game vs Millwall could define our season because at some time or anotherr we need to show the others that we are more than capable of staying with them and a win against the Lions has to be job #1. Should we lose this vital match then I hate to remind you of the final 5 matches of 2025 because there isn't close to a gimee in that entire crowded schedule and travel and tiredness become factors in performances. The entire squad has to rise to the occasion, as anything less than 100% won't be good enough, right from the kick-off until the final whistle and I hope the result goes in our favour. :emoticon-0148-yes:

AGAIN WE MISS THAT OPPORTUNITY....... he should have signed up before the start of the season with a new contract of at least 2 years plus 1 or 3 plus 1 with a get out clause of say £8? - £10m keep him till around 2030 ish

Sat 6th Leic..Watford...Norwich...BBBurn... Sheff utd ...Soton It wouldnt be surprising to see these 6 teams fighting it out today in top 6!!!! BUT hey ho highest placed is Soton in 14th on 24 points. SO 6 of the bottom 11 places occupied by "these potentials" to the PO;s

today we see in teams 3rd to 13th [11 teams ] 6 playing each other....
6th City 29pts v 3rd Millwall 31 pts .........
5th PNE 30pts v 10 Wrexham 26pts ......
13th QPR 25 pts v 12th WBA 25pts

Stoke 4th v Sheff Utd
Ipswich 7th v Coventry
Derby 11th v Leics
whilst Birmingham 8th is away to Soton
Hull 8th played already and lost

Hardest game has to be Ipswich Stoke a visit from resurrected Sheff U next. Both good for city. PNE to draw . thinking ahead draws for Derby and Birmingham would also be beneficial.

How much Anis Mehmeti earns at Bristol City as ‘big concern’ claim emerges

* The 24-year-old joined the Robins in 2023, and he has proven an integral part of the side in that time, registering a total of 23 goals and nine assists from 114 appearances in the Championship.
* As part of his move, the Albania international agreed a three-and-a-half year deal, keeping him at Ashton Gate until the summer of 2026.
* Mehmeti joined on a weekly wage worth £9,000 per week, and he will now surely be seeking an increase on that figure in order to remain with the club.

Bristol City want to convince Mehmeti to remain with the team, then they could have to make him one of their highest earning players.
Luke McNally is currently the Robins’ top earner, with the Irishman receiving £20,000 per week.
Other high earners in Struber’s squad include Emil Riis, who is currently paid £16,500-a-week by the Championship side.
A number of players also earn £15,000 per week, including Scott Twine, Rob Atkinson, Joe Williams, Harry Cornick, Jason Knight and Cameron Pring.
Bristol City have the 18th highest payroll in the Championship this season, so it remains to be seen what kind of contract they could offer Mehmeti at this stage.

Given an offer was made to the player as recently as October, improved terms could be needed in order to convince the forward to stick with the club beyond the current campaign.

Deserves an increase and a decent contract. Imo.
