Germany and Belgium won't break a sweat in those three group games.

Who knows? Saudi Arabia beat Argentina last time. I think it will be lot better than people think. There's plenty of tasty looking games despite the amount of teams.

Even if we mess up and finish second, we'll still only run into the runner-up of K. We're not one of the groups where the runner-up will face a group winner.

Win the group - possible KO path: Random 3rd place team; Denmark, Brazil, Argentina, Spain
Runner-up - possible KO path: Colombia, Spain, Belgium, France, Argentina

The odds of Mexico - South Africa being the opening game again with the host swapped must have been low...

 

Algeria could shock Argentina. Austria won't be an easy game either. I mean come on, some games you can easily skip.

 

Don't see any pot one teams falling at the first hurdle. Canada maybe.

Well I certainly won't be watching the 2am game every day for 2-3 weeks

There's interesting matchups but my real problem is the lack of jeopardy in it for the big nations.

 

They'll be fine imo. Especially at home.

Think they'll win their group regardless of who comes through play off
