I met a brilliant organisation yesterday in Leeds, Bangladeshi volunteers, running activities for all children in their community, engaging about 300 in sport and other activities, funded by donations from themselves, mostly men, to keep children safe. I pity you because you don’t see this inspirational stuff like this because of your discrimination. Compare them to you and who do we want here?

Plenty of white British men attack women and girls. The problem here is men, not skin colour. That's why there's a whole government department been set up to tackle male violence against women and girls.

This narrative boils my piss. They're not standing up for women and girls against male violence. They're using women and girls to fuel their racism.

Two in five of the 'patriots' arrested in the summer riots last year had previously been reported for domestic violence. So pleased they're here to defend our women and girls.

Genuinely news to me. I can say with some certainty in my little area of the world it has been taken up without those intentions or without such dark characters as influencers.

There has for a long time around here been a tradition of flying a flag. Lots more now on streets. I like seeing it personally. If I thought there was anything like white supremacy behind it I would take them down myself.

Anyone thinking the recent putting up of flags does not not have racist undertones is naive in the extreme.

Good to see the celebration of multiculturalism of the turk St George though.

when people see more and more what Reform or about and loosing our nhs and public services people will wake up. If they don’t it will be fun watching people cry like bairns when he finishes off the job of fcking our country after Brexit. People need to be careful what they wish for and whilst a racist, bully may appeal to some I think most will see Farage for what he is.

Yet, Labour are so scared of him they have cancelled elections for 2 years, gutless little weasel he is, and can't get him on anything so they make up lies, but real people aren't fooled by this, their support for him gets stronger every week they can't deny it, Queers position is at 14% the lowest since polls began, worst of any sitting Prime minister, and it's only the far left radicals who are losing their minds over him, a whole thread dedicated to slagging him off, rather than putting their hatred of where it belongs at Starmers useless ministers

Naieve I may be. But I know categorically there is no racist intent in some of the flag flying. Bundling everyone together seems to be one of the modern day approaches were thought and care is ignored in favour of political point scoring.

I do agree about St George though. I am proud to be part of one of the most multi-cultural countries and pleased to be able to have him as representing our history.
