Back to St Mary’s after a last minute kick in the genitals at the New Den.

Can we smash the chimney wanting stadium brummie folk.

Teams and Officials - Others to post

Hope we lose so I don’t have to post again; apologies if I have stolen someone else’s lime light
I think it’s lemon light when talking about Saints fans and players.

Brum have been strong at home but much less so away so we really should be looking to win this.

Reckon this game might be the first real test of the new stadium layout for higher risk games. They've always had a large amount of ****s in their fanbase and have caused issues at a few aways already this season.

Why do they want chimneys?

Tried watching Brady and the Blues on Amazon. Made it through an episode, maybe two. It was embarassing, Like a Ricky Gervais version of Ted Lasso. Brady's 'team talks' had me hiding behind the couch. Keep them in the States where they seem to work.

Havent watched them at all this season but for that awful behind the scenes expose alone we need to win this one.

Big test for Eckert this. After his fantastic start, we were bound to lose at some point so it's all about how he get the team to respond.

A win here and i think he gets the job after.

Thinks he's got the job anyway

Why haven’t they announced it then? I don’t disagree that he’s highly likely to get it, but we could easily lose this game too, Brum are decent. And suddenly it’s back to back losses and people will be getting twitchy about it again. Leaving him interim mitigates that somewhat. A team that has aspirations of promotion, that had a poor start needs to bounce back from a loss and go on another winning streak. A team worthy of promotion probably holds on to an undeserved draw having got a late equaliser too tbh. But so long as we get straight back to winning ways it can be brushed under the carpet somewhat. You can’t win every game, but our poor start means we can have fewer slip ups along the way.
