I had to shoot off home after the match coz the missus was supposed to go to the empire ( only found out when I got home it had been cancelled ffs)

I had a "disagreement" with a lad on the metro on the way home who thought Traore was to blame for both goals. I disagreed but will hold my hands up and didn't realise he left the ball for the 2nd goal. But had nowt to do with the first.

I kept saying to the lads with me, we were still in it, even at 2 nil. All it was, was 2 sloppy mistakes.

Full credit to the lads to keep on going.

I honestly couldn't love them more

Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "I'm really happy because coming from 2-0 down and winning is a big achievement. It shows this team has strong character, they are never beaten and want to fight. Many teams would give up, but that wasn't the case for us today.

"This league is really demanding. You make two mistakes and are punished.

"With the ball, we are good, so just keep pushing. We are able to hit their defence, and it was important to be clinical in the box.

"I think here we have a great energy in the stands. If we give a lot on the pitch, they will react. We deserved to win in the end.

"It's important to play game after game. We went to Fulham last week and we lost. We were dominated. We go again.

"It's positive to start this week with three points. It's an exciting league with tough challenges, but we want those challenges.

Fair play to Essayyeffcee, having watched it back he was right about Le Fée being MOTM.

Wow, what a performance, grit and determination was unbelievable, weirdly against the best attacking team we’ve faced at home, I never thought we were out of it at 0-2, LeFee and Xhaka were immense
Couldn’t be more proud of this team and club

When they said 3 more minutes on top of the 8 minutes the blood pressure soared even more. Either my stream was behind or catching up from it's freezes, or coverage in Holland was in front, but with almost 2 minutes left the nephew sent me a picture of his screen showing the full time score image.
I so relaxed and enjoyed thay last bit !

    MOTD

'Regis Le Bris is a cool character who doesn't get carried away', cut to him when we score our third and he's going off his tits.

    Love the bloke.

I haven't seen the full game but I think Le Fee was our Motm, he's been solid so far this season and is improving every game. That penalty was 10/10.

I said earlier do not think he was great but got most of his big decisions right. however he was very inconsistent with free kicks and yellow cards. There were definitely some ghost free kicks given out and both teams made the decision making difficult, that said however IMO he quite heavily favoured Bournemouth in most 50/50 decisions which made Iraolas comments a bit laughable really. the penalty was a penalty, the red card was a red card, the offside was off side. like I said big decisions right other decisions questionable. Scott should have been off first half as he made at least 4 poor challenges all worthy of a yellow (he probably escaped a second yellow for the penalty due to double jeopardy but not sure if that should of applied there).

After a quiet moment reflecting on today, the first 20 mins was like a basketball match - end to end. When Bournemouth put their chances away to go 2-0 up, years gone by, I would've been fuming and going ballistic but today I didn't. I don't know why but I was calm, disappointed that we were losing but calm. Reinildo got fouled in front of us and I was certain it was a penalty and I expected Enzo to take it - even though Sadiki had hold of the ball. Traore scoring that goal when he did - I've watched it a few times and still not sure how he did score! - came at the best time and when they got that goal chalked off straight after was a relief.

I felt a bit for Wilson today, he was on the centre halves shoulders most of the first half, waiting for the ball for him to run onto but it never came and the only time it did, he had his shot saved. But that lad Brobbey got us the 3 points from a great header, it looked like he was on his own from the North stand but watching it back he had a defender right by him.

Referee was **** again and another one who allows established Premier League teams to get away with fouls but they didn't like it when we stood up to them.

All in all, a happy chappy tonight, pity the skunks won though

Can't argue with that at all mate.

What stood out was that Arsenal played 'dirty' at the SOL and so did Villa. Now Bournemouth come here and look like a League One outfit with all the timewasting and pretend injuries. So it was funny that they lost their minds as we
wasted time when we went ahead.

If you dish it out you have to be prepared to take it.
