Huge to win that after the loss at Fulham. Absolutely needed to get straight back in the points.

You lot at the match... outstanding.

as i said earlier...plenty time to win it :)

being honest, i never thought we would lose this one (although there was obviously a shadow of doubt there) because we were looking good from the off, the lads were determined to put the last result well behind them and they have done it with style.

ref watch was entertaining in some aspects but mainly pure frustration watching the usual 'they fall over they get a foul, we dont' performance from him...guess he got the main ones right so can't complain too much, just gonna have to get used to it again.

my MotM going to granit, another solid captains performance when it mattered, cool as you like at the end of the game and bought us a few vital seconds each time.

Superb performance that, these lads just never give up.

Im lost for words at just how good we are, we look like an established top half Premier league side, not a newly promoted side just 13 games into the season.

To put that in context, the two sides that went up above us, Leeds & Burnley, have 11 & 10 points respectively. We have more than their combined points total.

Bloody outstanding.

I like watching Bournemouth.

Iraola is the real deal, they play fast, they try to win every game, they have players that can damage you.

A back 5 and letting them come at us would be criminal in this one as they concede, I’d definitely like to see Brobbey start and put himself about and hold the ball. I’d love Mayenda to get a game here I think it’s a good one for him.

Talbi left, Mayenda right and Enzo, Noah and Xhaka I think is a real balance and threat.

I will say harsh on Traore who despite some folk not being overly complimentary has been decent and Grady’s his bollocks off, I just think Mayenda is a headache and Bournemouth wound deal with it, anything that pushes the outstanding Semenyo back is positive for us.

I love Trai, absolutely live the lad but I do think our best back 4 is Rei-Omar-Dan-Nordi so if I was picking the side that’s my 11

Brobbey
Talbi-Enzo-Mayenda
Capitano-Noah
Rei-Omar-Dan-Nordi
Rooooooooefs

I just personally think that’s a cracking side with balance, threat and work rate.

To put that team up, and not have the likes of Trai, Diarra, Traore, Adingra and the excellent Geeertruida really does watermark how far we’ve come.

3-2 the lads by the way. Layers for days. Ha’waaaaaay

I telt yeee all!

Ill add more when i thaw out, dry out and find my teaticles but for now

****ING HA’WAAAAY

The heart in this team is stunning. What a beautiful set of lads.

I would not say a well deserved win but more a hard earned win. Though Bournemouth were the best team I have seen all season in and around the box? The way they found passes and space in tight congested areas was very good.
But Sunderland battled back with some great bits of skill and one touch passing which carved them.open at times
The referee was weird today and was giving ghost fouls to the most of the game and even though they complained loudly thought he favoured them in most of the 50/50 decisions which was strange. After 20 mins or so he seemed to level out a bit and did get most of the big decisions right
Iraola lost them that game IMO as his theatrics on the sidelines irked the ref and transmitted to the players. Regis was more calm and collected and got most big decisions spot on.
We fought and battled in bad conditions we showed heart and skill against a very good team.
Deserved victory not sure but definitely earned it.

Unreal effort

gifted then two goals in my view. First one mukiele slips and the rebound off the posts gets to them and the second one is bad.

apart from that they didn’t really have a sniff.
Unreal effort and love the pragmatism with the formation shift

ref was awful

We said they were great to watch and they were mate. Was glad of the heavy pitch at the end helped us over the line.

That’s a massive result these games against teams similar or marginally better than us in truth are the ones that can keep us soaring.

Massive performance and result.

That simwenyo frightened the life out of me every time he got the ball he won’t be at Bournemouth next season
