That’s the problem on this thread, people assume who I support, people assume who I would vote for, all because I don’t agree with some far left bollocks on here. And for the record I would never vote for Farage, I have commented on how rattled he has some of the lefties on here, which he quite clearly has.I always try to avoid being personal on threads like these, people’s beliefs and allegiances are their own affair. But I have to ask a question that isn’t specific to you, just people who might share your views. As this is a Sunderland football forum I tend to look at everything through red & white tinted specs.
So my question is this … if you were invited into the players lounge, after the game tomorrow, how comfortable would you be if you were put ‘in the chair’ and had to outline your opinions and wishes?
Would you be happy to spell out your beliefs about Farage, Reform and his cohorts to KLD, Le Bris, Xhaka, Sadiki, their countrymen, wives, etc and would you expect them to share your ideals? Would you expect them to echo your thoughts and would you think less of them if they disagreed with you?
Would you prefer it if Sunderland sent all the foreigners home, had an English owner, manager, staff and players, etc, with no concerns about AFCON…
… and would you feel justified in standing up tomorrow and letting them know how you feel.
As I say this isn’t a personal dig, I’ve just no idea how you’d begin to justify what you’re saying to KLD and other people who run our club or are employed here.
I had to do a double take with your post Flanders, I thought I must have wrote itI promised myself not to get involved in political chat...but I am weak. Thatcher was elected because the country was f..ked. The Labour Party at the time was not fit for purpose. Thatcher was an evil bitch who basically decided certain areas of the UK were dispensable in order to pursue her policies. I saw what she did to my family ( all miners) I for one will never forget what they did to the north east.
Sadly now, the Labour Party ( for which I have voted all my life) has reneged on promises made to the electorate during the election. The Tories are at a point of extinction which leaves a clear pathway for Farage and his racist, clan to occupy power, unless Labour get their s hit together and start governing with promises made and promises kept they will follow the tories into the wilderness
Finally..as for " get on your bike" I did that, to me if there is no work where you are, go to a place where is work. No point in staying where you are bitching and moaning as this will achieve nothing other than making you poorer and more unemployable..I think when people make their peace with the fact politicians couldn't give a flying f uck about working people the easier their life will be. You have to look after yourself and family...nobody else will

.Probably best I avoid the thread going forward.Just asking the question no one ever wants to answer.
I’m not the only one making assumptions tbh.
No bother mate.
Couldn’t put it better myselfNo idea! It's hard as I don't like any of them and don't think any of them represent me.
Agree with most of this. The only thing I’d say is that things change. You can have a job then lose it, you can get injured, your partner can leave you, you can meet someone who hasn’t got kids and wants one - I’ve literally just been talking to a couple in bakery who are having their first child together but the mother has had two previously. There are definitely some who need not to have any at all never mind three but people seem to be judging the lowest common denominator as is life these days.Regarding this two children cap . . . .
I can only speak from my own experience, but we decided about the amount of children that we had based on what we could afford . . . . sensible/responsiblle parenting, I believe.
We had to balance our income against living costs, and it doesn't feel fair that some families now can ignore this and have as many kids as they want because they will be financially supported by the government (by us, who pay taxes to do so) for every child that they have . . . . irresponsible parenting, I believe.
Limiting the amount of kids that we have to what we can afford seems like the right, and responsible, thing to do.
Having said that, it would be any 'additional' children that suffer if there's a cap, children that didn't ask to be brought into this world, and who aren't to blame for the decisions/irresponsibility of their parents . . . . children that if taken into care would cost the state far more money than any benefits provided.
You'll have to explain that one to me, how would a pensioner in that situation be paying for this?I said earlier there was a lass on BBC news saying she is now £300 a month better off. This can’t be right when it’s coming from pensioners who are getting just over double this to last a month.
Pay her this money by all means but get it from somewhere else.
Labour are far from perfect but compared to the corrupt and inept Tories who laid waste to large parts of the NE they are saints. So you agree it was Labours fault, that’s all I wanted to know.![]()
Ron’s dad just needed to get a bike.I’ve worked every where in the country, plenty of work if people get off their fat arses and look for it.
He certainly hasn’t rattled me but people need to be reminded that he is a racist divisive cancer within our country and certainly Reform are currently a threat to our national security. That’s the problem on this thread, people assume who I support, people assume who I would vote for, all because I don’t agree with some far left bollocks on here. ill never understand a party that wants to tax the wealthy who have worked extremely hard to get to where they are, to give it to bone idle people who play the system for what they can get, without getting off their fat arses. What a load of crap, people are not short sighted they are just sick of their hard earned money going to the workshy. I have no issue with supporting the needy but straight after Del & Rodneys budget we are presented with families who will benefit from the budget. A family of 6 soon to become 7, both parents on universal credit but delighted because they will have a lovely christmas this year with the extra benefits they will receive. A bangladeshi family of 8 obviously even more delighted with their new found wealth. Instantly made richer than working family of 4. It stinks to high heaven
