Not at all. I’m a little bemused by the adoration he gets from middle aged QPR men, is all. I have nothing but respect for Eze, fine player and looks like a good man too. But his biggest gift to us was transfer cash.

And it is true. Arsenal dumped him as a kid, he always wanted to go back, and he dumped Spurs to do it even though Arteta didn’t have a starting place in the team for him. Injuries have given him a chance which he has seized.

Nowhere else to post this, but what the ****'s happened in the F1 Championship? A few weeks ago, Verstappen was over 100 points behind, but after the McLarens were both disqualified yesterday, he's on the same points as Piastri, just 24 behind Norris. Another DNF for Norris and Verstappen could win it.

I’m sure there’s an F1 thread for people who like watching something which used to be good but is now terminally boring.
