I'm with you on that. Most people make tough choices about the size of their family based on their ability to afford to have kids, it should never be about what the state will provide you with.

Years ago families were big and housed in the same house with the view knock the kids out and get them in the workplace and put the money into the pot.
This is how traditional Asian /far-east families still work.

Why should kids suffer? Nice bloke you., wanting to make kids hungry.

I agree with you to a point but ultimately do we let kids go hungry because of the stupidity of their parents?

Sadly the SureStart centres were doing a lot of good work and bringing health professionals together to tackle issues such as this. Which government cut all their funding? A clue it wasn’t Starmer or Reeves lot.
