2 chances which should’ve been taken, we know how this ends

Oooh - we're missing chances........I wonder what could happen next?

Hello, Mr Hindsight here.
Not having a pop at you two because I don't think many would have disagreed with you. But looking back is always fun.
I couldn't find anyone predicting 5 though, so I guess "we know how this ends" is now officially redundant.

Travelling today but did have time for a stop at our son’s place and was around the tv for all 5 goals! Haven’t seen a spell like that since???? So SR the situation gets a little more tricky re managers??
Great singing from our intrepid travelling fans, well done!!

Sorry but I posted this at 10:56 on 'The Next Manager' thread.

Personally, I hope we win 5-0 today, play like Real Madrid from the 70s and make me look like the twat I am.

I am very happy to be a twat - I have never denied it my entire life. I have now proved it, plus I was closest out of everyone with a prediction....

I now predict a 6-3 win over Leicester City.

Personally, I'm really happy for all those away Saints supporters who have put up with so much crap but kept going - they deserve this game.

Quit while you’re ahead or it could all go a bit “Tom” <laugh>

Downs does not look like a footballer

DD seems to have a lag between thought and do, could be a footballer if he could sharpen up his co-ordination!

In the past I recall several games that whenever we have a big score, the next one is always an anti-climax event?

This is all without arguably our best player this season in Shea Charles as well. Hope he is back soon.

Until then, I really liked that he dropped Downes for Bragg. You cant just expect to play based on the fact you were great 2 seasons ago and cost a lot of money.

Romeu to come in too. We’ve gone from having no midfielders last season, to half a dozen this season. I’m in dream land.

Been revelling in this, haven’t had a chance to pop on here yet. What an 8 minutes for those 4 goals in the first half!! Such a pleasant surprise of a Saturday afternoon this is!

Got to be said, one thing I’ve noticed is the difference with Tonda as manager is we’re back to our drawing the man before playing forward a lot more & has to be said, it’s working atm. Feel like he’s finding better balance between pressure based system, possession football & allowing energetic creative players have freedom to play without fear of messing up. Scienza & Azaz are really benefiting!

Don’t wanna get ahead of myself at all, but if we perform the same on Tuesday & Saturday then he’s got to stay on interim until Jan for me

Errr...no, we played very well.

Which one this season was more likely after missing three or four easy chances? Be honest.
I am well aware how bad we have been, and i was as shocked as anyone. But I also am willing to give Tonda a clean slate, and not just assume his wins are all down to luck.

Credit where it is due imo.
