14:50 Auteuil Big virtual bet on Losange Bleu if anything around evs

Will Cheltenham go ahead today? More importantly if it does will trainers be prepared to run their horses on the heavy ground? All I’ve heard these last 2 months is that racing needs rain. Well we’ve got some so let’s get on with it if the course passes the inspection.

Mr Harvey Barfoot Haunt rides for Sam Thomas in the conditional. A name that exudes confidence. I’m in.

Moved to Monday due to waterlogged track

They would have needed Noah's ark to get them around these parts today. At least they've found a slot for it Monday instead and Cheltenham looks like it has held up but is the rain we had here not moving towards that part of the World?

You'd think so, right? I guess Cheltenham will look like the Somme tomorrow. Ruined Alexei's chances in the Greatwood I'm afraid.

The Met app I use suggests more rain at Cheltenham overnight but not a deluge and then dry from early morning tomorrow

Harry Skelton riding out of his skin. I love his positivity. Coming to the last on the mare there was no question of popping it - he was 100% and the mare obliged with a flying leap that sealed the victory.

That's from the show jumping days. Part of the training <laugh>
