No - I was definitely disinterested by that point - he kind of reminds me of Elfs for some reasonYou’d be Sylvester McCoy

I remember the Tom Baker scarves becoming very popular although at that point I was proudly wearing my Charlton scarfDr Who used to be much watch TV, but like Bullseye etc it’s had its day.
Its peak years IMO were 1973 -1979, when Jon Pertwee and then Tom Baker were in their pomp.
No chalk pit in England was safe from a BBC Outside Camera Unit during that time.

Didn’t they film in Chislehurst Caves once?
You know full well Minder is my go-to show. It is simply the greatest programme ever made. I've been to the convention and met many of the cast, including Dennis, George and Glynn. I watch at least one episode every day.Non football, but as its international week.
Are there any fans of MINDER on here ?

Dennis Waterman was blessed to feature prominently in two of the best TV titles of their respective eras;
The Sweeney (1970's)
Minder (1980's)
Now that television is changed beyond all recognition we will never see the like of those shows again.
Those genres, like good British comedy, are now consigned forever to history.
Haven't watched it for many years.
