Ok, I'll bite. I don't mind swearing and I do a fair bit of it myself, which is why I have the 'swearing' option enabled, but why call someone a **** just because they disagree with you? It doesn't make them a ****, it just makes them someone who disagrees with you. And I wonder how many keyboard warriors have the guts to call someone a **** in person and not when hiding behind a computer?

There's an enable swearing option? Where? I'm getting a bit sick of seeing all these stars.

I don't mind people that don't agree with what others say, that's why this forum survives. If we all had the same opinion it would be very boring. It's the people that actually act like ****s that deserve to be called it.
 
The ferry got stuck with so many spectators looking out for Fran. I think she has gone into hiding! Mind you Syd the thought of you sitting there in your boxers does little for the imagination. <laugh>

I agree there, disagreement is partly what makes us individuals. WUMs, on the other hand, are definitely ****s. <ok>

Now I have bandied that word about enough, I will back out of this conversation. <laugh>

Hear hear with bells on. Being a moderator is like being a goalkeeper - you have to be mad to want to do it! The huge improvement that this board represents compared to the old 606 is largely down to having sensible mods who know when to let things go. You'll make mistakes that become apparent in hindsight, but generally this ain't broke so don't try and fix it and stop beating yourself up, Beddy, that some low life took advantage of your light approach. All together now "One Beddytare, there's only one Beddytare" .... Merry Christmas, mate and let's get back to worrying about Sunday!

If you take that attitude about not posting, the rotters have won themselves a moral victory, best to hit the ignor function for those that are abusive and you won't have to read the rubbish they post (apart from those that are included in the original post of course) but it really is a case of sticks and stones, words shouldn't hurt you, annoy maybe, but better to laugh with them, than take personal offence. Oh, and please keep posting your opinions, if someone disagrees, instead of going off in a huff, consider the other guys point of view, he may be right or just misguided, time then to explain your ideas and supply the source of your information, this is a discussion Forum, not a war zone.

Thanks......we mods just need reassuring at times. That we have got it about right. Yes we are human too and yes perhaps this or that could have been done instead so as you say, with hind sight there is always another way.
 
Anyway you lot,as already stated- just get back to worrying about Sunday! I've a good feeling in me water!!

By the way, does anybody know if that dopey keeper is playing for you tomorrow?
