I'm petrified of Southampton and the new manager bounce - not that a new manager ever did us any good (initially). I know technically he's not a new manager (elevated from the U21's) but no doubt he'll inspire them to a win at leaky LR. I really fear we're in the middle of a run of defeats - Marti-like - and i can't see where our next win is coming from. It's a joke that we have to travel 3 hours up to Sheffield on Saturday whereas SU are playing tonight - so the home team get an extra 24 hours and no travelling - got to be worth a goal or two. Sorry for being so negative but i feel our confidence is low and we're just not competing at the moment. Having said that, a win tomorrow could do wonders for us - i feel these two games could be pivotal....
So Lofty, Are you saying your ambitions are not so lofty? Sorry, had to say that. Hope we have a win, mate….. and lift everyone’s spirits.
Maybe our new tactic is simply to suffocate the opposition with 44 players Still not sure that 4 Nardis would actually stop a free kick
Probably the right choices. Kone can come on for the Chairman when he has had enough. Come on u RRRRRRRRRrrrssssss!!!!!!!
Actually, now that I think about it, only Varane as defensive midfielder and no Kone, who actually does a lot of important defensive work. We could be a bit exposed today.
Cheers...all added. Interesting line up, glad to see some changes and hope it leads to a more direct and productive attacking display! Come on Rangers....
Have a bad feeling about tonight..... you can just see it, their first corner swing in under Nardi's crossbar and they all pile in on him....
Some big lumps at the back for them plus Downes. I like our team but it is quite small. Fortunately we’ll be constantly attacking.
