Thought we were sloppy the first half. Their goal knocked us for six and it took us a long time to recover from that. Was feeling the worst midway through the second half. Then something clicked and I felt we were unlucky not to go in all level at half time.

Didn't expect to score seconds after kicking off for the second half! Bossed the second half and went home feeling like we should have won that!

Proper emotional rollercoaster!

My middle son used to go regular when he was a teen but dropped out a few years back and became an armchair fan. Eldest son couldn't make it, so younger son took his ticket last night. It was class seeing everything for the first time through his eyes. He was blown away by walking through Keel Square and over the bridge. It does look amazing coming over the bridge on a night and seeing the stadium rise up on the other end. He thought the build up with the lights and music was fantastic. He said the overall atmosphere throughout the match was intense and he loved all the player chants.

He also fetched me the best chocolate bar in the world for half time :1980_boogie_down:

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said he is "concerned" by the muscle injury Viktor Gyokeres sustained during the 2-0 win at Burnley.

Gyokeres, who signed for Arsenal in a £64m transfer in the summer, scored the opening goal on Saturday before being withdrawn at half-time.

The 27-year-old striker has scored four goals in the Premier League this season but has not trained since the Burnley game and is unavailable for Tuesday's Champions League tie at Slavia Prague (17:45 GMT).

"No, he's definitely not available," said Arteta when asked by BBC Sport if Gyokeres was in the squad.

That handball beggars belief! Pgmol will probably apologise for the error! Thanks guys!

Awful first 30. As bad as vs Utd! But from then on we had complete control of the game.

Chelsea, Everton, Arsenal. I’m certain any of us would’ve been happy with a 4 point return from those 3. Turns out we’ve managed that wth 1 to go

Copied and pasted from the prince Andrew thread as some dickhead put it in the wrong place!!! <laugh>

We keep repeating the same mistake of playing teams who are also trying to win …

… eradicate that, from our game. and we’ll be flying.

Apparently he will miss the Arsenal game according to Le Bris has got residual symptoms from his concussion.
ahh pish,

we cant afford to start like that against Arsenal.

Hopefully VAR will be back working properly too

Just realised Michael Salisbury was the VAR Ref.
There's something at the back of my mind about him but can I heck remember what it is.
He was the ref that disallowed Josh King's goal for Fulham at Chelsea but I thought there was something else involving us.
Could be wrong as I do suffer from a natural bias against all referee's that are involved in our games :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I think we’ve got 8 points when going behind, the most in the league.
Almost half our points.

What this shows to me is we are slow starters and strong finishers.
It also shows RLB makes the right changes.

If we could get the starts to improve …….
After 20 minutes the whole stadium would have been delighted with a draw yet after 90 minutes the same lot were disappointed we didn’t win.

Were you at the Shields game on Sunday?

Bias maybe since he’s a Sheffield Utd fan if that’s what you’re thinking of.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing… but I would have liked to see Mayenda given 20 mins last night.. he brings something different, I’m sure RLB has plans for him, but would be nice to get the lad on the pitch now and again

My thoughts exactly, but stop whinging mate as it upsets some delicate Fu****s . <laugh>

Important we take our time with him. We have more than enough cover. I thought Geertruida was outstanding last night, his reading of the game is excellent.
Gonna be some headache for RLB deciding who starts between them 4. Ballard, Mukiele, Alderete and Geertruida! Yeah, rather RLB than me!
