Even Zack Polanski for all his talking points comes across as a gay middle class londoner to my eyes

I just can't take him seriously.

It's a terrible video with an important message.

The last few comments show how personality politics rules over actual substance and policies though

Which is why Farage is so popular.

The Green Party have some eye wateringly idiotic policies tbf. Their immigration and defence policies alone are just so out of line with the reality of the global situation.

Then you have their own party structure, like how the Scottish Greens are a completely seperate entity after an internal civil war, both parties have different policies and them supporting one another in Parliament isn't guaranteed.

I find the Scottish Greens flirting with promoting independence to be particularly concerning, I have no idea how Polanski who wants to be the UK Prime Minister would ever justify the movement north of the border wanting to abolish the job entirely.

They're just "different" and different is what people want.

But personality politics? Far too southern, far too middle class, far too gay. It's never going to appeal to more than the city lefties.

So you have party which aren't running in Scotland, aren't running in Wales, only have appeal down south and somehow want to win an election.

I think the Green’s policies on immigration are probably the most sensible out there in amongst the hysteria that dominates most mainstream politics. I agree with their policy to let asylum seekers work whilst their claims are being processed. It’s something I’ve advocated for on here before.

As for the Scots, every wing of every party has an independence movement so that’s not really new, but it would be a problem if there was a separate party governing Scotland if the greens ever got into power in Westminster.

but the point stands, lots of people base their decisions on personality politics. ‘Just too gay’ reads like something off of one of sucky’s twatter accounts lol

No, it's not an independence wing of a party Pinkie, it's a completely seperate entity that shares a name however means the English Greens cannot run in Scottish seats.

This means it's genuinely not possible for Zack Polanski's party to win seats in Scotland, he would be completely reliant on a power sharing agreement with the Scottish Greens who want independence.
It's not feasible at all.

I don't agree with that really, sounds hunky dory on paper but will only lead to Asylum Seekers being allowed in for cheap labour and not for seeking Asylum.

The very premise of an asylum seeker is that theyre here because of extra ordinary circumstances

Not to work at ASDA

The leader is an opportunist asajew who made a career convincing women he could grow their tits with hypnotherapy. The deputy is about as liberal as Peter Saxton and celebrated October 7th but is in the role to help create this bizarre alliance between wet left-leaning white people and very socially conservative brown people. They’ll do well enough to cost Labour some seats which is the only serious goal.

Yeh since the Greens started polling well Reform UK have recorded a 15 pt poll lead

They’ve got the Reform blueprint and will try and replicate it. Won’t be nearly as successful but it will work to an extent. Their big policy of relentlessly shagging Palestine even harder than the other options won’t be the draw in 2029 it is now.

Yeah I know, that's why it would be a problem for the Greens if they won in Westminster, but couldn't govern in Scotland.

As for Asylum seekers working, I don't think their extra ordinary circumstances preclude them from working, why would it ?

The main problem with the Asylum system at the moment is the amount of time it takes to process claims, with lots of Asylum seekers thinking their claims will take 2 months to process, when in reality it can be up to 2 years.

So in that intervening period they are just shoved in hotels or temp accom and at huge cost to the taxpayer, which seems to be the issue that's got everybody frothing.

I think there are some logistical issues to be worked through if you let asylum seekers work, i.e. without proper background checks it would need to be limited to Govt approved schemes imo. I talked about this before and how it might work

Lots of European countries already allow asylum seekers to work, I don't see why it couldn't work here.

Greens will never take power in the UK because they are painfully southern and middle class.

I think most in the NORF would throw up watching this

Well I'm not voting for anyone named Haydn Osborne-Brookes, and I say that as a ****y southerner.

Northerners are hard as soft ****e too btw, don't be fooled by funny accents, cheap haircuts and worse tattoos.

I noticed that multi millionaire Richard Tice was also saying that £10 per hour was too expensive yesterday

Absolute arseholes these people. They will hammer the working class, but loads of them will still vote Reform on the back of their anti immigration hysteria.

In the midst of a housing crisis in the UK I am curious how the Greens will justify policies that are so hostile to house building.

Reform are also the only party talking about the triple pension lock which just needs to go.

I lean left but the current crop of left parties are the worst we have had in generations
