I think Napoli are obviously a very solid side but it was really Milan and Lyon I wanted to avoid and on top of that, it would have been difficult going to Zenit or Moscow in Feb. Therefore all in all an OK draw and someone we haven't faced in the competition before. Hoping for Basel but wasn't to be! As long as we can go out there get an away goal or two and not lose we should be OK. Arsenal have a very tricky tie.
If we wanna be the best we gotta beat the best, but still woulda preferred a easier game but no complaints, only worry is Cavani lol
No easy games but want to avoid the spanish and Bayern for as long as possible, ideally getting to the final to face Hapoel!! Just glad we're still in it though, aye Manchester.
Got a funny funny feeling about this year, reckon it's going to be Bayern,Us,Madrid and Barca in the semis and i reckon it's going to be a us v madrid final, not being bias but just what i feel, had a funny feeling last night. AVB v JM it's written in the stars
I'd take that now!! We have a chance but I think we'll need favourable draws to get to the final. The Spanish clubs in particular will be very hard to beat. Least we wont be losing to English opponents this year when Arsenal get theirs handed to them by Pato and Co!!
Not the best option, but as has been said we could have ended up with worse. Coming through satisfactorily should also be a good momentum builder going forward.
