We should not forget that it is not just RLB.
We recruited a new coach in the summer, a set piece specialist and someone to scount and dissect the opposition.
The club is not about individuals, it's about a team, on and off the field.
We have built on decent foundations, but continue to improve both.
Long may it continue

True that, all our backroom staff are spot on. Who is the American and what is his job

With the hold-up and then the pass to Talbi it seems might have prejudge Mr Blobby to early... if he keeps that up and even scores a few, we may have a player on our hands.

Traore (?) He must show really well in training to get a start!

I noticed that, I hope it's his personality and not that he is unhappy here.
Apparently he has had some disgraceful and undeserved comments aimed at him on social media lately and reported in the Dutch press

I'm a bit worried he may do too well and attract suitors. I think we should throw a few games this year to stay under the radar and then win everything next year by stealth.

think i have said it before but my thoughts are that brobbey will need time, for a start off he has had some sh1t times lately in life and that in itself can take a while then his last venture overseas did not go too well...but, looking at the 'performance vids' we all watch when a player is mentioned then adding to the little we have seen of him in 'live action' it could take him a while to feel that he is as much a part of the club as the others are.

the lad has some power in him, can hold the ball up, makes a nuisance of himself on the pitch...make him welcome and he will reward us.

Spot on. The players will go out of their way to look after and integrate him. A lot of love and time from the fans will go a long way too.

He was just what we needed at that time in the Chelsea game.

Longer reaction to Talbi's goal here. The players congratulate Brobbey when he gets there after the initial mayhem
