not really seen anything about that
but it was actually a really good save, he got down really fast

i think their keeper was pretty good all game, made a great save from a gelhardt low shot too if i recall

Feels to me like most keepers have done well against us and made good saves.

Every game we've had at least a couple of good chances that led to good saves from oppo keepers.

His saves were ok but his general play was deplorable. Gifted us a corner from a lump forward for absolutely no reason and spilt about 2-3 really easy shots he shouldn't have.

I think the pressure from Joseph was huge in this he kept making him go long

ye and you can see game by game he's getting more confident, he's quite capable of making long runs with the ball, delap like

in front of goal hes very rusty/nervous/lacking composure still, but itll improve, its unfair to compare him to mcburnie in that regard, mcburnie is a genuinely top level championship player

He really isn't!!
Not a chance. Nothing like.
As 1 or 2 others have said, I too have warmed a little to him for his work rate and of course want him to do well.....but, come on!

Yep his pace gives us a completely different dimension. He’ll end up being a steady champ striker once he gets a little run together. He’s more second stint Frazier Campbell to me. He’s platforming those around him who can deliver results. Hopefully he gets what he deserves in terms of goals soon

talking ****e as usual :1980_boogie_down:

delap like, doesnt mean delap level of player, its a comparison of one attribute

I know it doesn't and never said it did.
Comparison to Delap's style is simply ridiculous. Nothing like. By all means praise his work ethic, his pressing, his tracking back, etc, but keep it real.

He’s definitely in the mould though. He carries the ball well, very pacey and strong, good in the air. Obviously a lot to be desired in front of goal but as Thomas Asante is showing at Coventry, if he can get himself on a run, who knows?

Delap is known to be able to make driving runs with the ball
Tough to take the ball off him

Theres been a few times josephs done similar
Delap esque
Delap like

Not saying hes delap mark 2
As good as delap in anyway shape or form

Its pretty ****ing simple really
For all but a buffoon

You are seeing things I don't see (and I'd guess most others don't see). When he carries the ball / finds himself on a run he appears to have no idea what the heck to do. As others have said, seems to just lack the vision and technical ability to do anything 'Delap like', and imo also lacks the sheer pace & power that Delap has.
Anyway, we can all have our views & opinions I guess, so I won't continue to push mine.

He carries us up the pitch though. When you’re playing a team like Leicester who have talent like they do. Just doing that alone gives relief to the entire back line
