Branfoot Out. Hope you bye soon.
That was a proper protest
Didn’t he score that goal not playing as the CF and as a forward playing in the channelDidn't Armstrong just score a perfect centre forward’s goal on Tuesday night?
He can play as a central striker, if we play through balls, but not if we just lump high crosses into him.
Wrong, it's a match day thread and the only reason this is on it, is that you got yourself barred elsewhere.
My post said “if we lose to Blackburn, his position probably becomes untenable”.
Therefore relating it to the match.
When did you get appointed as head of the forum police anyway?
There’s a good omen in there somewhere. 0 3 1 is unbalanced so after this match 1 3 1 which is symmetrical. An away win it is then!Libby's giving me a lift to this.
So it's probably worth pointing our our record when Libby and I have travelled to games together isn't good although isn't terrible either - just meh. W0 D3 L1. Although 2 of those draws were decent results in isolation (Ipswich away this season and Brighton away last season).
Statistically, 1-1 is the bet to place as all 3 of the draws have been 1-1. Or 3-1 Saints as that will cancel out the 3-1 loss at Bristol City 2 seasons ago. Fingers crossed for the latter!

This was my team. Do we actually need a dedicated striker?Macca
Mads
Wood
Edwards
Manning
Charles
Jander
Fellows
Scienza
Azaz
Armstrong
No idea who plays as CF
I like that team but Wellington seems like a bloody liability atm.Gonna throw a bit of positivity into the mixer….
2-0 Saints. I know we lost 3-1 on Tuesday, but I really don’t think we were all too bad last couple games, albeit some terrible finishing both games & Wood having a shocker against City.
Just got a feeling we’ll be ok this Sat & lift the mood a bit (finally!!). Can’t see him changing the system this week, so…
McCarthy,
Edwards, Wood, THB
Fellows, Jander, Charles, Wellington
Arma, Archer, Scienza
Arma & Scienza to score. COYTMFC!!
Although on the other hand, Blackburn have only picked up one point at home at home all season meaning they're due a win, which being a Saints fan worries me somewhat.
Yep.Wasn’t it Blackburn who were beating Ipswich and the game was abandoned with like 10 mins to go?

Now it's nearly here I reckon we'll win this one. A scrappy, unconvincing, 1-0 where we ride our luck almost the entire second half.
Which I will absolutely take.
Exactly that. I'd be happy with a scrappy win but yearn for a comprehensive victory. "Worries me somewhat"? You, me and just about every Saints supporter anywhere are jittery.Although on the other hand, Blackburn have only picked up one point at home at home all season meaning they're due a win, which being a Saints fan worries me somewhat.
Chilco banned me from replying in the Will still thread, so adding my thoughts here.
I’m not sure we should sack still tbh. I don’t rate him so far, I think it was a bad appointment and we need more experience, but we can’t just keep changing manager.
Plus other managers (and players) leave us and instantly improve.
The problem is higher up. Something is rotten inside the club.
I am beginning to think the decline continues until SR leave at this point. That may take another relegation and the owners selling up.
If we lose to Blackburn however, his position is probably untenable.
I didn’t say that. How come he didn’t get a ban for telling me “why don’t you **** off”?
What did you do to get banned?
