ill tell you what, centipedes fantasise about having one left leg as good as gilesys

Really enjoyed the game last night bit (a lot) nervy at the end but thought we were great overall and deserved the win. Getting quietly excited about the year.

Interesting that every game we win all of the reports talk about how bad the opposition played and give us very little credit. Here's to flying under the radar for as long as possible. I've won over £320 on out last two games <laugh>

what? in my opinion, at the point in the 2nd half where they had just hit the bar and we'd essentially not had a sniff at their goal, I thought we didn't deserve 3 points (for not killing them off in the first half and not getting going in the 2nd) and would settle for a draw. We held on very well and got 3 anyway. bosh!

Williams has been with the u23’s all season. People keep asking every week. Maybe he’ll get promoted in a crisis but at the minute he’s not showing it.
I don't think he has.
He's played for them a couple of times but has been injured (or something) for a period.
It's looking like we could do with him for Saturday, either starting or on the bench at least, but I doubt he's close yet. Disappointing as he should be ripping it up (as they say) at this level. Has me wondering if something else has been going on with him - hopefully I'm making 2+2=5.

majestic, mercurial football, magisterial gilesy. magisterial giles. Running like he’s got a food mixer down his shorts and it’s set to beat

as ray hudson would say
That move has a Panenka pass in from Millar -- the whole passing movement and the finish was absolutely magical.

Thanks for your opinion, but I’m going to dismiss it.
We tore them apart first half, could have had more too. As much as I don’t like it, they elected to defend the lead second half, and in the end, did a brilliant job. You do understand we only have to win by one clear goal? Hitting the bar counts for f**k all. That, last night was a fantastic result, against a recent premier league side.
I’d have liked to see you walk into the changing rooms at full time and present your “opinion “ to the team. UTT

What an odd reply. Are you incapable of comprehending that an opinion can change? That was my opinion in the moment, by the end of the game it had changed. You really need to relax.

Another excellent performance last night against expensive opposition.

As expected they had chances but we took ours with panache.

It really is all about winning.

Allam’s GONE.

Think Charlton will be a bigger challenge than Southampton, Birmingham or Leicester. Despite being the weakest of the promoted teams on paper, they’ve exceeded expectations and put in some good performances and got good results.

They don’t concede many at all, which is impressive for a promoted team. Really disciplined side and we shouldn’t underestimate them.
Not suggesting we should, just that I'm confident we have plenty of different ways to play.

He's not played in two years, came in late to pre season and Giles has been sensational so he's not had a look in. Was always going to take some U21 games for him to get going.

I reckon he starts on Saturday if Giles is out.

Clown!
We go 2 up against a very good and expensive relegated Premier team, they were bound to have a go in 2nd half, yes maybe we got lucky but to say we didn't deserve it, ffs

See a few posts up and he actually explains his original post

Personally I thought we should have scored 4 or 5 and absolutely deserved to win

I didn't say we didn't deserve to win, I said in that moment of looking like conceding and not looking likely to score we don't deserve to come away with the win. There's obviously a difference. After our changes we looked much better and did deserve the 3 points. Look at when I posted that and stop making out I said it after the fact.

Maybe I should've said "we deserve to concede here and we don't look likely to score another" but either way, even if you disagree calling me a clown is just odd.

What's with the strange number of super fans on this forum that interpret anything in the worst way possible? No wonder any decent poster on here ****s off or starts irony posting.

Relax? I was there and enjoyed it, your comments just made you look entitled and as if you really don't understand football. As I said I've dismissed your opinion, move on. As a final piece of advice on the matter, maybe it'd be better if you didn't post every thought you have?
