I thought Kenny spoke well, genuinely seems frustrated by the situation. Manning less impressive.
But it is nonsense. Gareth Southgates England did it throughout his employment. Certainly free kicks into the box, it was fundamental to his play.
Arteta didnt bring it back. It never left the English managers mindset.
And if indeed he is utilising long throws I'm certain A) its because he can get away with it over here. B) I'm completely against it and C)I'd bet a far greater percentage of English coaches use it.
English coaches are comparatively ****, they are incapable of producing anything special. The culture and mindset gets in the way.
We did much better with English owners before selling out & becoming just another foreign owned sports ball franchise.

Tbf the so called "mess" is really nothing to do with JHT if that is what Manning was alluding to.
JHT had to deal with the mess that was Forson, Crnac, Gordon, Slimane and Jurasek. All hopeless.
Manning now has those hopeless players, a few more in Mattsson, Topic, Medic and Diallo doesn't have Sainz and Nunez and also has a ton of injuries.
I won't lose any sleep if Mannings fired but what do people expect him to do with those players. They're technically quite poor, lack creativity, lack any real valuable attributes, certainly seem to lack decent intangibles.
We should change our team colours to beige.

Duffy should be public enemy #1 in that dressing room given his drink driving before a playoff game, missed games through unprofessional conduct, allegedly contributed to JHTs dismissal....and now clashes with fans having not played a minute all season. For him to think positively about that dressing room really says it's lacking leaders and accountability.
He was/is our highest earner & dead weight, should have been released after smashing his car pissed .

No. We just lack good foreign players with the English ones also not particularly good either.
I'll excuse Darling, Fisher and the clearly quality Mahovo. Mahovo is going to be a fantastic player, he has genuine chops.
In truth I'd forgotten about him.
He's like alot of them at the moment a bit bland. I'd say he at least you can see someone who has alot more potential. He should be playing tbh but I'm not sure hes really going to change anything presently To much tat around him.
If Duffy was partly responsible for the sacking of Thorup, he's one of the reasons we now have the disaster that is Manning. He should shut his mouth, be grateful the club didn't fire him for bringing it into disrepute, and just spend the money we are wasting on his wages on getting lashed.
Duffy would have had zero relevance (likewise Gunn, Nunez and Hernandes), had we had a Sporting Director with the courage of his original convictions. Responsibility for sacking Thorup, and thereby single-handedly creating the current mess, lies wholely with Knapper. He has to go. KNAPPER OUT!

People say he got good money for players.....they forget they were great players he was selling.
He really has been a terrible appointment. We should pick a foreign scout for his replacement.
