Really!! The guy was blowing out of his ass - he only played 17 mins FFS!! What an embarrassing site for a professional footballer at this level when he hit the deck knackered after 11 mins, then walked around until full time.
I do wonder if he is has bulked up so much it now affects his game. As Redprintt said a while ago, he’s a 400m runner masquerading as a footballer.
Who was that Wycombe player who was a bodybuilder and recognised as the strongest player in the professional game?

I am becoming increasingly worried what happens when Vitek goes back to Man Utd. He is clearly a couple of levels above Max and showing what is needed to compete at the top end of the league. If we dont upgrade on Max it will say clearly what our ambitions are.

Tinnion and co were happy signing Lumley as back up for O'leary.
Vitek has shown Tinnion the error of his ways and Tbf a few on here thought that O'leary was 'adequate' as well.
A top keeper is essential for success in any league.
I still think O’Leary is ‘adequate’ no more and certainly no less. Our problems, and where we need to address most with what money we may have are at the other end of the field for me. I didn’t see a save that Vitek made yesterday, that I haven’t seen Max make before. I do agree that Vitek is better, and his extra height certainly helps, but I don’t see the gap as being as big as you do.
Agreed, Vitek is young and still learning, provided he continues to progress I do believe he has a far higher ceiling than Max, however I believe Max makes those saves yesterday. Max is perfectly good enough for our level. Our deficiencies are much more acute elsewhere throughout the squad. Should we get any funds from the sell of Semenyo my first priority would be to improve our striker options for a start, and I’d look for an upgrade on Robert’s as well.
