Shame, they're a massive 'name' in the history of English football. I remember watching that FA cup final in may 1993, wanting them to best Arsenal, hoping that City would get that successful one day and now look at Wednesday.
Different but kind of the same. The article is all nonsense anyway. One minute he say's London's a mess, then he says Newcastle's fantastic, the only place he ever wanted to be, then he's taking his kids to grow up in a place where if you talk out of turn you get locked up, have sex under 18 you get locked up, drink in the wrong place you get locked up. As for the £2000 a month, I'm sure he's paying school fees, accommodation, living costs, holidays back in UK, etc out of that with change to spare!

I would guess that he's earned a lot in his career and by moving lock, stock to Dubai, he avoids a lot of tax on his investments etc. So he gets paid X for playing in the third division over there, but saves a lot over the course of the year, compared to what he'd have to pay in the UK... That whole division/team is probably sold as part of a tax efficient retirement and lifestyle plan to wealthy European footballers.

Sure he’d have put his family through living in uk if we’d have offered him a contract.

At a recent charity lunch/afternoon function Redknapp senior was billed as guest speaker...he had a better offer and was replaced by....John Barnes... apparently he was a poor speaker but was booed of the stage when he ended his session with a racist rant.

It's a disgraceful thing.
This is England, not the Middle East.

Some will say theyre banned becasue they are hooligans
Others will say its to not incite riots with the heavy asian presence in birmingham

One things for sure
Its a safer idea to not have them
