I don’t think anyone was wrong, he was a liability last season, a waste of space, at times it was like playing with 10. He has marginally improved this season but still not pulling up trees or winning us games
Couldn't agree more. He's doing what any midfielder should be at this level. He's had 3 decent games but his bar wasn't set that high. I would love nothing more than to be proved wrong. He's a fair way to go yet.

Well we are unbeaten in 6 & won 4 of them, so he is winning us games, agree about last season so your last quote doesn’t make any sense

The levels of vitriol poured on Madsen last year were off the scale. Bob in particular was way over the top. Yes, his performances were often below the level that could have been expected, but some of us could see a good player in him struggling to adapt to a tough league. He's been a top performer this season, though.

It's hard to admit you were wrong.

To have a problem where there's a scenario that Poku and Chair might have to wait for an opportunity to get back in is a problem well worth having. Saito and Vale would be my starters out wide with Smyth coming on to stretch the play.

But I wasn’t it’s like going to a supermarket in the states and see a beautifully shaped coloured shiny tomato, take it home and it tastes of nothing

As I've just stated, I would love to be proven wrong. His performances prior to the last 3 or 4 games were nothing short of embarrassing and very detrimental to the team. I would love him to help progress the team I support, he's helped recently and I hope that continues but I won't get too excited of a player who has played well once in every 10 games.

Why don't you just try to focus on his performances this season, which have been consistently good?

Do you wear your I :emoticon-0152-heart Nicholas t-shirt to bed at night?

He was total dogshit last season...but turns out you can polish a turd.

Maybe he spent off-season watching videos of himself and got so embarrased at the level of his turdiness that he decided to knuckle down and prove his doubters wrong - there's a lot out there. I hope he keeps improving, but he's got a long way to go to become the messiah you want to make him out to be

You don't seem to have read my post properly before responding.

Up to 6th
Everything going rosy
Were playing decent football
Unbeaten in 6
Sound familiar?
Let's hope Rangers in Scotland are not looking at our manager over the international break!!

There's a vacancy now....Martin sacked this evening
