He should do really, Morikawa's had a mare this weekend, hell all of them have until today. Free hit mentality for the States I think, they'd basically lost so all the pressure was off them today

Must have been very miserable for Sam Burns knowing the day was lost, having to play out the last hole in front of everyone and then losing it!

When singles pairings came out I was thinking of having a bet trebles and accas... I honestly couldn't find more than couple which I thought were nailed on. But two things... if the pairings are sealed how the hell do the best 4 players in the tournament on each side play each other and be if English v Hovland had happened wed have just retained it with a 14-14 result..

If English had beaten Hovland the overall score would have been 14 1/2 to 13 1/2.

Well done Europe.....Great achievement in that hostile environment. U.S had nothing too lose..Went for it, with all guns blazing, therefore deserved some credit. Tbh I bet the European lads expected it to be tight.

I reckon it was just some sublime ****housery.

A collective European holler of ‘you can do it!’

    ‘you can do it!’

    ‘you can do it!’

    ‘you can do it!’

    ‘you can do it!’

    ‘you can do it!’

    ‘you can do it!’

    ‘you can do it!’

    ‘Erm, no you can’t’.

Listening to the team interview later it seems the sh*t housery went way beyond acceptable, particularly for Rory’s wife who had a beer thrown at her and some appalling comments made to her almost constantly all the way round the course. Not acceptable in anybody’s book!

I remember Patrick Reed requiring a police escort off Gleneagles golf course back in 2014...(Yes,it really does happen in Europe).

All's fair in Love&War, but it should never spread to family members

Is that because in theory it wasn’t the winning put but the drawing put?

I was surprised when I looked and saw it settled and thought nothing more of it...Then I saw the start of that message appearing on my mobile and immediately took a hot flush.

    All's well that ends well:emoticon-0148-yes:
