We need to temper expectations. I’ll be surprised if we’re in a relegation scrap this season but I’d be equally surprised if weren’t chasing the play-offs. I think we’ll pick up enough points to stay up but a boring 14th-12th finish seems likely and I don’t think that would reflect poorly on Jakirović.

This team just can’t defend, yet another game we need to score 3 to get a result, it’s just not sustainable. Watford could and should have had a few more and they’ve struggled to score all season.
Exactly. We lost games like this under Rosenior when we finished 7th. It’s early days but it could be a lot worse. All the pundits had us in the bottom three.
