Disgraceful. We were poor second half until the last 15 or so BUT we have been 100% robbed of a win by the officials.

The great run from the end of last season hasn't continued. We played with full on intensity and went forward. The squad is better overall now but it might be, like you say, he has too much choice and can't work out the best combination(s). If so, then we're getting another mid table finish. And if that happens, the new owners may (will?) change the manager.
I heard that if we aren’t ‘there or thereabouts’ by November ….
