BILD jumped to the wrong conclusion and I'm afraid you've been duped. This is a genuine picture outside of a Food distribution centre. Here is another angle from photos that day please log in to view this image With clear information regarding location, time and individuals, additional reference images and videos of the field kitchen can be pinpointed using a Google reverse image search. They are characterized by a number of recurring details: The red-and-white barrier, the pattern of the buildings in the background, the metal rack for the pots, the gate with its blue tarps and the NGO employees present at the scene. Taken together, these indications suggest that there can be no question of the photo in question being staged. It was staged, as proven by the SZ/BILD investigation. Looking closely at the image you've posted, I asked myself "what does this image show?" Well, to be perfectly honest, I see a large group of mainly normal BMI young men, indeed some seem to be overweight to obese. I see this group of mainly young men holding up empty bowls and other containers. In the centre of the image, placed behind the fencing, I see at least SIX similarly young men with journalist-style cameras around their neck. In fact, these camera people greatly outnumber the aid workers among them. It is impossible to look at your image and come to the conclusion that this 'proves' widespread famine in Gaza. All I see is a crowd of pretty well-fed people who haven't YET received their allocation of food for the day, clearly being directed by multiple journalists to stage a dramatic photo. Which is precisely the same conclusion as the BILD report. Thanks for providing us with more evidence to dispell the great lie of Gaza starvation. We'll add it to the "14,000 babies will die in 48 hours" and the "hospitals are on the brink of collapse" warning we hear every month pile of bollocks gullible westerners have swallowed hook, line and sinker.
The biggest irony is that you accuse the likes of me and Ponks of being 'selective' about what we believe in terms of images and stories 'from Gaza' ...
