His all around game is excellent in comparison to Schar and Burn who actually repeatedely give the ball away.

Him and Botman are proper top flight players.

Botman is for sure, both defensively and on the ball, hopefully his knees don't explode, it's too early to tell with Thiaw.

Yes they did but you can understand why he played them at this point. Experience is probably desirable against Barcelona.

Schar is a international CB
Burn is also now an international CB

So they are dependable.

But the new guard are coming through. Thiaw Botman Hall and Livermento are all similar age profiles and could realistically be our back four for the next 4-6 years.

He has to be encouraged to not pass safe. He has the technical ability.

Bruno should encourage him to be positive not safe and to not worry if it goes wrong.
