Morgan Rogers. Very good player but he was poor yesterday. Their fans seemed to sarcastically cheer when he was hooked.
He’d be training with the kids for me. Doesn’t matter how good you are, you don’t give up a ball rolling at walking pace towards the line when you obviously can catch it! There is no excuse! I’d have gone off it if any of ours did that. But they don’t! Everyone gives 100% stoyart to end which is amazing to see

He is a cracking player, someone I rate highly, but he was totally off it yesterday. For a player of his quality to put in a performance like that it starts to give the impression that he's not happy with something at the club so he's going through the motions. Especially after having a good game for England a couple of weeks ago against Serbia. He almost looked a different player. Ollie Watkins was the same, a years off the pace and didn't seem bothered. Worrying for Villa if that's the case.

Aye. Wasn't the only one who looked in a huff mind.

They were all waiting for one of the others to do it. I think they thought they had it all done when we went down to ten and never really came to terms with the fact that we didn't think the same!

He won the ball.....then clattered into him. Totally unneccessary and incredibly risky. We all having a chuckle over it in hindsight, but if he'd getting sent off then it would have been game over.
The first challenge was to win the ball..He did that with room to spare.secondary was the coming together as part of the challenge from Rodgers..

He did like, and in all honesty, it's my kind of tackle. But there are some linos and refs who would have red carded him anyway.

Mind, that ref was useless all afternoon!
what would have been given the other way around is what I'd consider. Both went in together and Hume got there first. If he'd missed the ball, different matter, but he was first to it.

**** me! He got a slice of the ball first but is that not a red card for dangerous play?
Obviously not m8, otherwise with var he would have got one. I think, btw, had that happened to one of ours I would’ve been screaming for a card but with the help of video I would have said good old fashioned hard, but fair.
